Turn-around times:
Most mounts will require
approxamately 6 - 9 mos to
finish. However, those
items requiring an out-of-
house tan will take upwards
of a year to finish due to the
lengthy time spent at the
tannery. These items would
include Rugs, Bear and Moose.
Please do not call and pester
your taxidermist at 6 months
and a day to find out how your
mount is coming! I assure you
that when it's ready, you'll be
the first to know!
Payment Policy
Cash or Check only
A 50% down payment is
required when mount is
brought in.
No mount will be released
until payment is made IN FULL.
New: Beginning this fall for the convenience of our customers, we are planning on accepting Credit Cards!
Payment plan arrangements
can be made in advance. A
storage fee will be administered
to all mounts not picked up
within 60 days of notification of
completion. Mounts not picked
up within 90 days will be
considered abandoned and
become the property of
JNC Taxidermy.
All Open mouth mounts add $50.00
A surcharge of $50.00 will be added
for excessive sewing/repair work.
Typically these start at 50.00 for a
simple pine, with more elaborate
pieces available.
Specialty hardwoods are market
dependent. Please call for a
quote.

JNC has decided to go to a flat rate fee for the various types of Black Bear mounts that we offer. In doing so, we hope to provide a more consistant pricing structure for our customers. No longer will the thrill of taking a large bear be tempered by the increased cost of mounting your larger trophy.
Bases can consist of a
wooden base of varying
compositions or an appropriate
habitat scene. Cost is based
upon the size and detail
requested.
